Alterations basic class, one day (3 hours class)

Tired of clothes that don’t fit quite right? Want to save money by fixing and refreshing your wardrobe instead of replacing it? Our Alterations Class at Sewing Solutions Hub is perfect for you!
In this hands-on class, Basic sewing skills are required to attend this class
you’ll learn:

How to use a seam ripper without damaging fabric
Pinning & marking for alterations (chalk, fabric pens, clips)
Hemming pants by machine & hand if u like
Taking in or letting out seams for a better fit
Shortening sleeves or adjusting straps
Replacing buttons, snaps, and simple closures
Plus: zipper and waistband fixes for those ready to level up!
Patching holes

You decide what you want to learn in this class, please bring some clothes from home to work on it, if you don't have any you can work on some of the clothes we have in store for practice

Spaces are limited — Pre-registration required!

Basic sewing skills are needed. Bring your own machine or you can borrow one from us!

Sewing Classes Rules & Policies

1. Attendance & Make-Ups

- Please notify us if you will be absent.
- Missing a class does not reduce tuition cost.
- If a student misses a session, makeup spots are offered only if space is available.
2. Cancellation / Refunds
- Cancellations made 3+ days before class receive a full refund or credit.
- Cancellations 1–3 days before class receive store credit.
- Same-day cancellations or no-shows are not refundable.
3. Photography & Social Media

We occasionally take photos of finished projects and class activities.
If you do not want to be photographed or have your child photographed, please let us know at check-in.

4. Minimum Enrollment Required
- Classes may be rescheduled if fewer than 2 students register.
If Sewing Solutions Hub cancels or reschedules, students may choose:
* Full refund
* Move to a future class date
* Store credit
